Kaeli ran in her last CC race at the State meet finishing in 79th place overall for the Lady Tigers. Helping her team finish 11th place! Kaeli has been the lone Senior on the girls team and has been instrumental in providing leadership and dedication to her team. We congratulate Kaeli and wish her the best of luck!

Dynamic Duo Daniel Romans & Thomas Talkington-Seniors
This past Friday these 2 helped the Tigers defeat #16 Grafton Bearcats 27-7 on Senior night at Wimer Stadium. They combined for 255 yards and 3 scores. Of course, a lot of credit goes to the O-Line and the Tiger D for holding the Bearcats to a total of 130 yards for the game. Congratulations to the Dynamic Duo and the Tiger team!!

Thomas Talkington Senior-Football
Thomas was one of the main reasons the Tigers found their way back to the winners column last Friday night against Lincoln HS. He tallied 146yds on 21 attempts. He scored from 2 yds out and connected on a 40yd score as well. Talkington has been consistent for the Tigers all season long. Congratulations to Thomas and the entire Tiger team!
Female Athlete of the Week -Lexi Morici Male Athlete of the Week-Luke Anger Group Athletes of the Week- EHS CC TEAM!
Lexi a Junior and Luke a Freshman were the top finishers for Elkins at the Big 10 Conference meet last Thursday. But we felt we must recognize both the girls and boys teams who all showed incredible grit and heart competing in some of the worst weather and course conditions in a very long time! Thank you for your dedication to your sport and your teammates! Congrats to the coaching staff as well! Good luck at Regionals and know we are proud of all of you!
Greyson Howell-Senior Soccer-Goal Keeper
Greyson has made several unbelievable saves this year. Whether it has been on a PK or on an attack, he has come up big for the Tigers. Last week against Morgantown he made multiple saves preventing the Mohigans from taking the win. Head Coach Mike Sfameni said it was the best game he has seen Greyson play! Congratulations Greyson and keep up the great work!!
Samantha Price-Junior Volleyball
Samantha has been a force at the net for the Lady Tigers! She has been able to control the front line and the past several matches have been no exception! Congratulations Samantha and keep up the great work!
Addie Berdine-Sophomore Cross Country
Addie has been one of the most improved runners in the region! She has been challenging the top runners in each race. This past weekend was no exception with a 4th place finish and helping the Lady Tigers finish 1st overall!! Her hard work and determination makes her an excellent choice for Athlete of the Week! Keep up the great work Addie!
Matt Gainer-Senior Cross Country
Over the past 2 weeks Matt has been pushing and working as the Tigers close in on the Conference and regional meets!! Saturday Matt finished 29th and continues to challenge not only his opponents but his teammates and elevating their running! Congrats to Matt!!
